These golden, crispy Lumpia are filled with tender chicken, fresh vegetables and savory flavor perfect as a breakfast, snack, side dish, or party bite!
The best part is: you can season the filling completely to your own taste. 👌
🧂 Ingredients

Chicken breast

Bean sprouts (taugé)
-
Grated carrots
-
Traditional Lumpia wrappers
-
Ham cubes
-
Flour
-
Water
-
Seasoning of choice (bouillon cube or Aromat)
🥣 You’ll Need

Bowl
-
Pot with water
-
Frying pan + oil for frying
-
Fork or shredder to pull the chicken apart
👩🏽🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the chicken
Boil the chicken breast in water with a bouillon cube to flavor it.
Once cooked, shred the chicken into fine strips.
2. Prep your veggies
Wash the bean sprouts in lukewarm water.
Have your grated carrots and ham cubes ready.
3. Assemble the Lumpia
Place one Lumpia wrapper flat on your surface.
Add shredded chicken, ham cubes, grated carrot and bean sprouts on top.
Roll the wrapper closed like an envelope and set aside.
4. Make the coating paste
This is the secret to that crispy and flavoured outside!
Mix flour, water and your seasoning of choice into a thick batter.
(Note: it shouldn’t be too thick, but not watery either see the consistency in my TikTok video)
5. Frying
Dip each Lumpia into the flour paste and then fry in hot oil until perfectly golden brown.
6. Serve & Enjoy!
Your crispy Caribbean Lumpia are ready!
